Tina causey, ceo | founder of geek passions

Tina Causey 41 of New Orleans, Louisiana  founded Geek Passions LLC in 2019 under the name Geek Harmony LLC.  After litigation threats from another dating app, the new name Geek Passions LLC was formed. Geek Passions app took 3 years and dozens of programmers to complete. Tina Causey finished an A.A.S. In Computer Science in 2020 at the height of the pandemic at a local community college. 

Tina Causey began coding long before stepping foot into a classroom.  She self taught herself coding by taking free classes on YouTube and by buying several books at Barnes and Noble.  Books like “Coding for Dummies” and “Coding for Kids” was literally how this all got started and  then she joined college to get a degree stating that she knew the languages that she knew.  (Python, C++, HTML 5, CSS and Java) While in school she also picked up a certification in IT Networking.  She studied cyber security as well, all while being a loving single mother.
